Who is X-Badges?

X-Badges was established back in 2000 after I found it impossible to find anywhere in Australia to order custom 1 inch badges. We were one of the first (if not the first!) small business in Australia to then start supplying custom badges around Australia and have since supplied thousands of bands, individuals and businesses over 1 million badges for various uses! All our badges are made by hand and individually checked, so you can rest assured they will be top quality!

We still offer the cheapest prices in Australia for 1 inch & 35mm size badges and will guarantee to beat any written quote.

How long will it take to receive our order?

- It totally depends when you need them by! Depending on how busy we are, sometimes we can have orders completed the same day and sent out express post for you to receive the next day. Simply email us with your deadline!

What are the shipping costs?

- We have a flat rate of $8.00 for all orders. Plus Free postage on all orders over 1000 badges. All orders are sent by Express Post so you will receive them nice and fast!

What are the different size badges you supply?

- We have 2 size badges that can be ordered. The smaller 1 inch size, which is very popular with bands for merchandising, plus also the larger 2 1/4 inch size badge which is great for fundraising and promotions and anything where you really want the badge to be noticed!

What are the badges made of?

- Our badges are made from superior aluminium castings with secure straight brass locking back pins. They artwork is crimped to the badge casting using the badge machine and sealed with a top quality mylar plastic.

What type of file types do you receive?

- Please send all images through at a high resolution, min. 300dpi in .tif, .psd, .eps, .pdf, .jpg, .bmp. We can accept most file formats. If you are creating your image in Illustrator please remember to convert all text to outlines before sending through Please visit the artwork information page for a more detailed description of file info.

I am not very good with computers, can I post you the images for the badges?

- Yes no problems at all! If you have no way of converting your images to an electronic format, simply post them to us and we will scan them in and create the badges for you and then return the artwork/images to you with your order.

What type of payment options do you accept?

- We accept DIRECT DEPOSIT, PAYPAL, CREDIT CARD, CASH ON PICKUP, CHEQUE OR MONEY ORDER. So basically we can accept payment in all methods, so just choose whatever is easiest for you! We do have a small 1.8% extra charge for Paypal and Credit Card payments just to cover the extra bank costs that are involved.

Do we have to send the image on the template?

- No, not at all! That is just there if you wish to use it. Just simply email us the image and we will amend it to the template at this end.

How many designs can we have per order?

- You can have 10 different images per 100 badges. We can print more, but there is a small setup fee involved, simply contact us with your order requirements and we will send you a quote!

Can we pickup the badges from you?

- Yes you can collect them from us no problems! We have 2 addresses for pickup, during business hours you can collect your badges from our office at Windsor or after hours from Via Studios Band Rehearsal Rooms at Bowen Hills.
